The state of Amazonas has a culture formed by the influence of different peoples who crossed and gave rise to a unique caboclo culture, with a mixture of indigenous, Afro and European elements that are found in several Amazonian festivals. These events have presentations that use costumes, allegories, lights, projections and choreographic compositions with dances and gymnastics elements to promote their folkloric manifestations. When we noticed that Gymnastics for All (GFA) is still little publicized in the state, and with an interest in disseminating it, initially, in the university context, we decided to use an Amazonian festival (Parintins Festival) to encourage experiences in the GFA.From this, we seek to analyze the perception of experience in a process of choreographic composition in Gymnastics for All whose theme permeates the cultural identity of Amazonas in a university extension group. The study included 19 people from the GFA group of the Dance, Circus Activities and Gymnastics Program (PRODAGIN).Observation was used for data collection -with the use of field notes and analysis of conversations in the WhatsApp group, focus groups, and visual method. To understand the process of choreographic construction and the relationship with cultural identity, we base ourselves on the phenomenology based on Merleau-Ponty.And for more reliability of the data, we use triangulation. The results are divided into three categories: An Amazonian corps is born; the construction of identity in the group of gymnastics for all, subdivided into three -From the outside in: Me-Amazonian, for projects that incorporate life stories, plurality: being-individual and being-collective; and for a decolonial gymnastic act.The interlocution between the Amazonian culture in the interviewees' gymnastics seemed to be healthy, evidenced by the incorporation of critical, creative movements, but above all, significant to the subject who moves
