The present study explored a part of Luiz Alberto Moniz Bandeira's trajectory.More precisely, the study investigated the youth of this intellectual in the 1950s and 1960s in a prism that privileges his social connections and his political projects.Such movement, based on a methodology of Intellectual History, developed an analysis of a series of characters that composed the New Brazilian Left, offering several characteristics and projects of this group
