This paper outlines issues derived from organizational change and relationship in organized work.Situations occurred during a total quality project directed towards effective participation in problem solving in a state company, in the middle of the 90's, were revisited.This intervention was based on a group precept aiming dialog between managers and notmanagers.The conflict this groups experienced, based on dominator-dominated and creatorcreated relationships, was depicted during this process.The opportunity of showing knowledge about tasks and to discuss improvement strategies, being attended by the managers, was given to not-managers.The 20 th century concepts related to organization and institution and statements in Organizational Psychology were revised to establish this new analysis.This understanding was conceived under the scope of evolving concepts in Social Psychology and Psychoanalysis, particularly an aspect that emphasizes the constitution of an intersubjective subject.Report of personal work experience exemplifies these theories in part.Our research focused on the group intersubjective constitution, on leadership as a function of intersubjectivity, and on the subjectivity underneath work organization.We expect to improve comprehension of subjective and intersubjective aspects, present in work organization, which interferes with organizational change.Also to discuss the object of Organizational Psychology.Managers' friendly and adverse reactions are also visited
