The concept of Enlightenment" and "Excursus I : Odysseus or Myth and Enlightenment".The present exposition will demonstrate that a critique of civilization is present in Freud's, Horkhimer's and Adorno's reflections.From the psychoanalytic point of view, second nature refers to the social, whose subjectively mutilated individual unfolding is a condition for progress and culture.Thus, we will further try to expose how some Freudian concepts can be articulated to the Weber's concept of disenchantment of the world with a view to depict both the subjetive and objective condition of the modern civilized individual
