This research is focused on the Ana Cristina Cesar's critical texts which are found in the posthumous edition, Escritos no Rio.This paper is divided in three parts: "The impact on the authoritarianism" which discusses its relation between the authoritarian issues in the literary field and culture in general."The impasse in the tradition" which analyzes some of the author's value judgements taking into consideration her relation between critical and literary tradition.And "The problematization of positions" which approaches some Ana Cristina's opinions on the relation between the author and his/her social context
