This paper is the result of a research about the culture of the indigenous ethnic groups located in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza-Brazil.It gives emphasis to differentiated education as long as it is a tool that must be used when looking for local development, including the training of qualified teachers who are responsible of propagate the indigenous activism by making the students aware.Therefore, the main idea is to propose the implementation of differentiated superior studies with the goal of training professionals that are capable of develop the community from the inside.This would be based on: the Spanish concept of "intraculturality" created by Jesús M. Aparicio Gervás; the concept of "interculturality", introduced in Spain by Ángel B. Espina Barrio; the example of universities as the Indigenous Universities of Bolivia (UNIBOL) and the Mexican Intercultural Indigenous University of Michoacán (UIIM); the implementation of the concept of "intraculturalidad" in the Brazilian academic context; and the proposal of the creation and diffusion of the concept "sobreculturalidade", unknown in both contexts
