La vasta producción académica realizada en el marco de los estudios de género en ciencias sociales ofrece múltiples conceptos y herramientas de análisis que pueden operar como disparadores para la indagación.En este artículo se presenta una breve historización de las principales líneas abiertas en antropología y geografía en torno al género y una propuesta de abordaje teórico-metodológico de problemáticas de género suscitadas en un contexto rural particular que se posiciona en la intersección entre la geografía humana y la antropología social, fruto de un trabajo de investigación llevado adelante con familias que habitan la Zona Núcleo Forestal del Delta Inferior del Río Paraná
