This thesis analyzes the gesture in dramaturgy -at cinema and theater.Through Flusser, this research investigates the abyss between two signs (for example, film and spectator) and how the gesture appears as an element that stands out in this communicability, creating bridges or inferring fall in this abyss.Through Agamben, we will analyze why the gesture is necessary for the human being, and how gesture in movies represents the human being.According Benjamin, the spectator goes to the movie theater to meet himself, but each one is in his own way. Therefore, being this identification subjective, this research cannot leave talking about subjectivity and modes of interpretation, and for that, we will use Eco, Hegel and Sartre concepts.Still, some other scholars' ones will be mentioned to support this research.Ultimately, a small essay on how this research can be applied in other areas of knowledge is proposed, with an applied study on the language of theater, in an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, which we call "A Banquet for Tamora " in which I put into practice, what I call The Gesture Methodology
