The present study aims to investigate the events of early childhood education from the context of teacher training in child education, considering the determinations of LDB 9.394/96.Starting from 10 years of experience in training programs in various municipalities, we investigated the challenges in teaching practice, which has specificities. On one hand, the learning tasks of the teacher of early childhood education on both the content and objectives to be achieved and on the other hand, the fact of dealing at the same time, with care situations and affective investment (of desire) in the encounter with the child, interwoven and crossed by what we call, Psychoanalysis, childish. The teaching experience that arises often escapes planned and is problematic for these professionals, questioning its position of knowledge -in this case, more than to know about the child, to know itself as a teacher. In this research we aim to articulate these issues and found that it can turn what is presented as problems into a puzzle for teachers, taking as guiding the notion of childish in Freud. This twisting refers both to questions raised by children as the impasses of the teacher, in that it includes the transmission instinctual question and fantasy that surrounds. The instinctual dimension, founding the subject, indomitable and insistent, shows up at school as a strange that returns as puzzle, but also as something familiar; fantasy cuts the place of the subject as a result of the experience of satisfaction subjected to repression and shows up as a solution when faced with a wonder. We understand that these contributions can subsidize us for a discussion in order to compare them to the experiences of teachers narrated here, seeking, in addition to a connection between psychoanalysis and education, opening a possibility to face the challenges and dilemmas faced by teachers, and also of interrogating the place of transmission and the desire to educate
