Uma Proposta De Dança Na Melhor Idade

This paper describes the experience of program “Começar de Novo” (To Start Over Anew), a methodological proposal of Dancing in the maturity. The program aims at developing socio-educational procedures through interdisciplinary activities among the fields of Dancing, Music and Art. A collective planning of the classes and of choreographic propositions was suggested seeking a reflection upon art in the old age, the possibilities of each students`s expression, as well as a debate about the mature body, its changes and conquests and the experience of making and finding pleasure in art.
