Abstract:This article aims to study a comedy of intrigue, Errar principios de amor (1646), by Pedro Rosete Niño, a very unknown play within his own theatre corpus. As it is the fact with other comedies by the same playwright, this text has suffered the most unjust neglect. Consequently, this is a situation that needs to be reverted, as his works do represent, beyond any doubt, a valuable example of our rich cultural and theatrical heritage
