The Nasrid dynasty has built and refortified their cities, in order to be safe. The study of strategic and frontier of this enclaves, that make up the Kingdom of Granada, is essential to analyze and assess the functional sense of military architecture. This study focuses on the city of Antequera, the city which will be processed the following specific aspects: historiographical analysis, historical approach to the area from a geographical, physical and evolutionary perspective, and in situ recognition of defensive structures of villa, that has been indicated before
