The site of Mushash 163 in the badia of Jordan, about 40 km east of Amman, attests to a continuity of settlement (albeit seasonal) from the PPNA to the PPNC (ca. 9000-6400 cal. BC). Not only the architectural remains testify to a way of life adapted to local conditions, but also the lithic finds can be used to trace the development of this settlement and the changing conditions. In the present text, the genesis of the projectile points is traced, which questions arise about their use, which functional and formal attributes were preserved or rejected. Due to the promising findings, it seems appropriate to deal more intensively with these fossiles directeurs in the future
