The article presents results of Education activities in the Municipality of Alagoinha in the State of Pernambuco, Brazil, which began in 2005 and continued until the current days in the state school of the municipality.It points out the results of the practices that have been developed with the students of this school showing how these young people developed the sense of belonging feeling of their heritage helping to preserve them by combating the destruction of these assets, in this case the preservation of a paleontological site.We also present the concepts of patrimony and heritage education that guided these activities
