The question of guidance for college students is first discussed. A pre-occupationalized course aimed at providing information about teaching occupations is then presented. Psychological features of students taking this course, hence having made a first potential choice for being teachers, are next described. Personality traits and general interests seem to be specific. Last, a relation appears between the variability of specific motivations for teaching occupations and the variability of ways of being a teacher
