To what extent psychoanalysis can be transmitted is open to dispute. Interpreting dreams, can it be learned? And a child’s drawing, does it take a special formation or even an initiation? It can hardly be by imitation that psychoanalysis is passed on, neither by reproduction of a model. Indeed, questions around transmission goes to the heart of psychoanalysis.
