In this artide Nina Lykke welcomes the continuation of the debate set off by her article in Kvt 1.03, "Intersectionality: A useful concept in gender research". Lykke argues that we have to remain vigilant to the risk that the concept of intersectionality may lose its ability to capture changing social relations and asymmetries of power if its exad definition or methodology is pinned down. Perhaps intersectionality is best understood as a provocative and oppositional critical figure, rather than a set method or theory, Lykke argues. In this sense the concept of intersectionality can offer a locus of both theoretical debate and transversal politics
