This artikel presents the summary of a grammatical description of Dhao, an endangered Austronesian language in Eastern Indonesia.The data used in this grammar are extracted from 82 texts including elicited texts and field notes, 33 purposive recorded items, and 1,878 headwords in lexicon database.Dhao is a language spoken by about 3000 people on Ndao Island, a tiny island west of Rote in East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia.Some speakers are now also living on the other neighbouring islands, such as Rote, Timor, Sawu, and
