Cette actualité bibliographique propose un panorama des travaux sur la désistance, en puisant notamment dans la sphère anglo-saxonne. Après un rappel de la généalogie de la notion et une revue des auteurs les plus centraux, l’article explore ses principales tendances théoriques pour discuter leurs transferts potentiels dans le soutien aux processus de sortie. Une présentation des pistes de recherche les plus récentes et des premières perspectives comparatives complète ce tour d’horizon. En conclusion, on énumère les précautions inhérentes à l’étude d’un tel processus de changement ainsi que les prolongements potentiels qu’elle réserve
