L’université française connaît une intensification de la professionnalisation de son offre de formation. De leur côté, les étudiants favorisent une orientation vers des filières plus explicitement professionnalisantes. Dans ce contexte, notre travail s’attache à repérer les caractéristiques qui construisent l’image de « la professionnalisation à l’université » chez des étudiants en licence. Nos résultats montrent une représentation sociale globalement positive, dans laquelle le stage occupe une place privilégiée. Il apparaît toutefois une attente insatisfaite chez les étudiants interrogés
