What factors are related to the decisions by newspaper gatekeepers to run certain pieces of information and not others, or to feature certain items and "bury" others? This study involves an integrated approach to this news decision-making process, including analysis of content, administration of a questionnaire, and gathering of demographic data. The study coven three kinds of "forced" and their relationships to news decisions
