A través de un análisis del significado normativo de la explotaciÃ3n, el artículo ofrece razones para defender la tesis de que los principios de la justicia distributiva igualitarista deben aplicarse globalmente. La existencia de un sistema econÃ3mico internacional, que produce relaciones de explotaciÃ3n, exige la aplicaciÃ3n de estándares de justicia distributiva igualitaria por dos tipos de consideraciones. En primer lugar, porque sobre la explotaciÃ3n pesa un deber de justificaciÃ3n equivalente al que pesa sobre el ejercicio de coerciÃ3n y, en segundo término, porque la explotaciÃ3n supone niveles altos de cooperaciÃ3n e interdependencia econÃ3mica e institucional
