Discursos Sexistas Acerca De Los Intereses De Las Mujeres en El Parlamento Chileno

El aumento de mayor representación descriptiva luego de la ley de cuotas de 2017 invita a explorar el impacto que generó en la representación sustantiva. En este trabajo se clasifican las afirmaciones pro-mujer, distinguiendo las que reproducen estereotipos de género (intereses prácticos) de las que rompen con la reproducción de los mismos (intereses estratégicos). Los datos fueron recopilados por medio de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a una muestra aleatoria y proporcional por partido político y sexo en las dos últimas legislaturas (2014-18/2018-22). Se observó que las afirmaciones no sexistas sobre intereses de las mujeres de tipo estratégico pasaron del 30.4% al 48%. La mayor cantidad de dichas frases pasó de estar concentrada en el discurso de las diputadas de izquierda y centro-izquierda más jóvenes en 2014-18, a expandirse a hombres y mujeres jóvenes de centro-derecha en 2018-22
