This article examines the recent rollbacks of LGBTQ+ rights in the United States and their influence on LGBTQ+ communities in Asia, including legal protections, advocacy, and mental health. It highlights the important role of social workers in addressing these emerging challenges by promoting LGBTQ+-affirmative practices, providing culturally sensitive mental health support, and fostering inclusive communities. Social workers are positioned as critical actors in resisting discrimination and strengthening local mental health and social support systems amid global policy shifts
