This article examines the role of parking facilities as essential infrastructure supporting shopping tourism in the Brás neighbourhood of São Paulo, with a particular focus on Shopping Vautier Premium. The study discusses the functions of parking facilities as moorings that shape the dynamics of shopping tourism. Using a qualitative approach grounded in systematic observations, the research applies the mobilities paradigm to analyze the interplay between movement and stillness, with special attention to the impact of couch buses that bring groups of shoppers to the area, especially during the early hours of the Feira da Madrugada (Dawn Market). The findings reveal that these parking spaces do more than merely accommodate vehicles; they act as dynamic nodes that enhance the shopping experience by providing essential services and fostering interactions among visitors. Additionally, they serve as strategic nodes for the organization and distribution of goods, reinforcing their integral role in the logistics of shopping tourism. The study also explores the affective implications of these infrastructures, demonstrating how they contribute to the accessibility and attractiveness of the district as a shopping destination. By characterizing these parking facilities as active components of the urban landscape, the research highlights the broader impacts of mobility infrastructure on urban tourism. Ultimately, the findings underscore the critical yet often overlooked role of parking facilities (particularly for excursion buses) in shaping the spatial and economic landscape of urban shopping districts, contributing to the broader discourse on urban mobilities and the planning of commercial spaces
