Une Analyse Sociocognitive Du Colonialisme De Peuplement Israélien

Dans un monde majoritairement postcolonial, Israël fait figure d’exception alors même que se perpétue sa domination sur le peuple palestinien. Comment une telle domination est-elle rendue possible, d’un point de vue sociocognitif ? À partir de l’analyse structurale d’autobiographies politiques publiées en anglais par des politiciens et activistes juifs israéliens entre 1993 et 2015, cet article développe une sociologie de la « connaissance de sens commun » israélienne articulant son rapport dominant à l’altérité ethnonationale. Cette connaissance doxique – posant la Palestine comme propriété juive exclusive, le génocide nazi comme danger récurrent qui justifie toute réponse militaire et l’appartenance civilisationnelle occidentale comme garantie de supériorité morale – favorise un rapport au monde centré sur la solidarité intrajuive qui empêche toute identification à l’arabité. Les conséquences coloniales de cette doxa nationale sont analysées, contribuant ainsi à développer l’aspect sociocognitif du paradigme du colonialisme de peuplement
