Fintech adoption (FA) has emerged a key driver of sustainable development, particularly among SMEs in emerging economies. This study investigates the impact of FA on sustainable performance of SMEs in Pakistan, with a focus on the mediating role of circular economy practices (CEPs) and green innovation (GI). A quantitative research design was employed, 340 responses were collected from managerial employees of SMEs across leading cities in Pakistan. Hypotheses were tested through partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM), revealing a significant positive effect of FA on sustainability. The results indicate partial mediation by CEPs and GI. The study contributes to the existing literature by providing theoretical insights based on the practice-based view (PBV) and ecological modernization theory (EMT), as well as offering practical implications
