Companies require an efficient supply chain (SC) to respond rapidly to market demand, necessitating collaboration with customers and suppliers and integrating advanced technologies in production processes; however, relationships among those variables remain under-explored. This study uses a structural equation model (SEM) to quantify the relationship between a Responsive Supply Chain Strategy (RSCS), Information Sharing with Customers (ISC), Collaboration with Suppliers (CSU), Advanced Manufacturing Technology implementation, and Pull Production Systems (PPS) to improve Responsiveness to Market (RMA). The SEM is validated using information from 254 respondents from the Mexican Maquiladora Industry, where this kind of research is unexplored. Findings indicate a direct effect of RSCS on ISC (β = 0.789), highlighting the importance of strategic information sharing for Supply Chain Responsiveness (SCR). In addition, ISC impacts SCU (β = 0.525) and PPS to RMA (β = 0.833). Also, a sensitivity analysis based on conditional probabilities confirms the need for strategic integration, technological adoption, and collaboration to improve SCR. This study contributes to academic discourse and provides actionable insights for industry leaders and policymakers, advocating for the continuous reassessment and enhancement of SC strategies in a dynamic global market, highlighting the continuous need to reassess SC strategies to navigate the complexities of a dynamic global market effectively
