Nonviolence

Nonviolence is a catchall term to describe many types of behaviour, conduct, and attitude, all of which share, however, the principled commitment to least harm, noninjury, and nonviolence in the pursuit of personal and sociopolitical goals. It is mostly the method of the weak, but is an effective response to oppression, injustice, and unfairness when powerlessness or moral values prevent the recourse to violence
