The study described by Alex Inkeles in “Soviet Reactions to the Voice of America” (pp. 612-617 in this issue) was enlarged to include references to the Voice in European satellite media. The new problems which arose are here described. Paul W. Massing is Associate Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University. He is a student of political sociology and is the author of Rehearsal for Destruction, a history of political anti-Semitism in Germany
