This article aims to reflect on the transformations in geographical areas within the boundaries between the urban and the rural, understanding them as complex thresholds, laden with inhabitants and diverse processes. These areas have particular characteristics that require the challenge of investigating their own dynamics and identity, such as interface surfaces that unite different realities
