Settlement patterns in Piura (1532-1850) This article deals with the formation and evolution of the settlement patterns in the northern extreme of Peru, from the XV to the XIX century. These populational systems are considered within the framework of Nucleation and Dispersion. The chronology and typology of the residential cores that make up these patterns are analyzed in the same manner
