Francis Tassaux, Laecanii. Recherches sur une famille sénatoriale d'Istrie, p. 227-269. Les Laecanii sont essentiellement connus en Istrie où ils constituent l'une des gens les plus importantes de cette péninsule. Après avoir recensé, dans l'ensemble du monde romain, tous les porteurs de ce gentilice qui apparaît relativement rare et concentré à Rome et dans quelques ports d'Italie, l'Auteur examine d'une manière plus approfondie les assises économiques de la branche sénatoriale des Laecanii Bassi, principaux producteurs d'amphores Dr. 6 B et exemple typique d'hommes nouveaux de l'époque julio-claudienne dans l'Italie nord-orientale ; dans la dernière partie il envisage les rapports pouvant exister entre les Laecanii d'Istrie et les autres porteurs de ce gentilice
