Programmatic access to open statistical data for population studies

This publication contains supporting files for the publication "Programmatic access to open statistical data for population studies.The SDMX standard" in the Demographic Research journal (www.demographic-research.org). The files are: a. ProgrammaticAccessDR.Rmd: R Markdown document. The paper was prepared using R Markdown in RStudio. The Rmd document contains all the code used in the paper. R version 4.2.1 (2022) and version 4.3.1, (2023-06-16) on Platform: aarch64-apple-darwin20 (64-bit)) and RStudio Version 2023.03.0+386 were used. Note that, after updating R to version 4.3.1 (on macOS 13.5.1), kableExtra may produce the following error message: package or namespace load failed for 'kableExtra': .onLoad failed in loadNamespace() for 'kableExtra', details: etc. It is a known issue.
