After the dictatorship in Uruguay, feminism delimited by state terrorism developed, but this feminism also was inscribed in a broader space of international and regional references. The so-called "northern feminisms" were invoked, but at the same time, "Latin American" feminism began to be named. This article aims to analyze the Uruguayan case and especially for left feminists, the European and Latin American references invoked in the feminist discourse of the time. Its purpose is to register feminism in a more significant space of references and circulation. The source analyzed in this article is the feminist magazine Cotidiano, the leading feminist publishing venture of the eighties
