For over thirty years statements have been made about what anthropology should and could do for education. At last there is tangible evidence that something is being done. The three contributions which follow were presented as part of a Symposium on Anthropology and Education held at the Annual Meeting of the American Anthropological Association in Denver, Colorado, in November 1965. They may be counted as further evidence of the growth in interest by anthropologists in formal education
