In our two preceding issues, number 78 for February 1978 and number 79 for May 1978, we published five contributions to a Symposium on the important article by Proffessor Brenner in issue number 70 on “Agrarian Class Sructure and Economic Development in Pre-Industrial Europe”. We are now pleased to publish one further contribution. A Rejoinder by Professor Brenner will appear in a subsequent issue.
