Beginning his dance training while completing a PhD in Government at Cornell University, he has gone on to work with ballet, modern, and circus companies in North America and Europe, including Kristina Isabelle Dance, Zero Gravity Circus, and Cirque du Soleil. Through this performance work and study, Robert has come to understand dance in a political sense, and politics as another from of movement and contact between people.)
