Les pays nordiques occupent une place particulière au sein des dispositifs internationaux d’aide publique au développement. Sans histoire coloniale, la Norvège, la Suède, la Finlande et le Danemark cultivent une réputation altruiste et humaniste dès l’après-Deuxième Guerre mondiale. Une histoire de l’aide nordique démontre cependant que leur politique publique en faveur des pays en développement est également influencée par des intérêts nationaux. Au-delà des ressemblances, chaque pays garde une conception propre de sa politique étrangère
