CAMPBELL GARNETT has for the past sixteen years been a professor of philosophy in the University of Wisconsin. He is at present chairman of the department. Previously he was for five years professor of philosophy and the philosophy of religion at Butler University and for one year acting professor of Christian doctrine at the College of the Bible, Lexington, Ky. He is an Australian and was trained in Australia for the ministry of the Disciples of Christ. He took his doctorate at the University of Melbourne. Before coming to America he taught at the University of Adelaide. His most recent book is The Moral Nature of Man, published in September 1952. Among his other works those of most interest to readers of this journal are Reality and Value (1937), A Realistic Philosophy of Religion (1942), and God in Us (1945).
