Análisis de las ventas de productos de la agricultura familiar para la alimentación escolar en la franja fronteriza nacional en el estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, Brasil

The objective of this work is to analyze the sales of family farming products for school meals in the border area of Mato Grosso do Sul state. It was carried out through bibliographic research and collection of secondary data from the portal of the National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE), in Brazil, 2019 and 2022. It was observed that just over half of the municipalities in the border area of Mato Grosso do Sul complied with the minimum percentage of 30% of purchases from family farming. Out of the 45 municipalities in the border area of the state, 24 did not reach the target, and eight of them did not record any acquisitions from family farming in 2022. It was noticed that being on the border is indifferent to the fulfillment of this public policy, which depends much more on peasant organizations and the will of territorial managers
