One starts by a review of what has been published or is being studied in the field of books, libraries and publishing in Andalucia in the modem times, then one offers a kind of economie radiography of the libraries inventoried and assessed in Sevilla in the XVIIIth century, to which is added an analysis of the bookshop stock of Jacobo Dhervé after a document of 1751, itself also accompanied by an assessment. When one confronts the two entities, one notices correspondences allowing to detect a relationship between likely clients and the value of the works, habits of purchasing among individuals and of investing among booksellers according to the financial abilities of the former and the latter
