This article introduces us to what must have been the export trade from Marseille to Valencia by sea, in the period between 1626 and 1675, from a documentary base, the Peatge de Mar (Archive of the Kingdom of Valencia), which allows us to understand easily the peculiarities of the merchant activity that was developped between the two cities, Marseille, sender of all kinds of products and Valencia, which is the recipient and consumes them. A world seen from the observatory formed by the port-beach of the Grao of Valencia, which, as through a kaleidoscope, will put us in contact with a universe formed by the different models of boats and the skippers who directed them, the products traded or the men linked to these exchanges of goods, both in terms of imports and exports, always with the Mediterranean as witness
