Research Article| June 01 2011 The Task(s) of the Translator(s):Multiplicity as Problem in Renaissance European Thought Belén Bistué Belén Bistué CONICET/Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Argentina Belén Bistué received her doctoral degree in comparative literature from the University of California, Davis, and she is currently a tenured assistant researcher for CONICET (the Argentine National Council for Scientific and Technological Investigation) at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, in Mendoza, Argentina. Her current project focuses on the practice of collaborative translation and the production of multilingual editions during the Spanish American conquest and colonial period.
