Poesie et vie quotidienne sont liees. Les Limba de Sierra Leone (Afrique occidentale) considerent la danse, la musique et le chant comme la forme d'expression artistique la plus importante et ceux qui possedent une grande habilite forment la categorie des individus qui detiennent un talent mysterieux qu'ils deploient a la fois dans les ceremonies et dans la vie quotidienne. Parallelement, les histoires de tous les jours sont la production des individus et non uniquement de la tradition, avec ses regles, ses significations en relation avec le systeme de pensee, et le mode de vie des Limba. L'A. fait un parallele avec un groupe de musiciens de Milton Keynes (Angleterre)
