Report on the Program of Unesco

T HE complete report of the Program Commission of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization was presented at Paris, on December 8) I946, by Archibald MacLeish, vicechairman of the United States delegation. This report, which was adopted by the General Conference with minor revisions, is the first formal program of inquiry, public service, and development under the auspices of the Organization. The execution of these proposals now waits the approval of a modest budget-about $7,000,ooo for the current year.
