Most of these analyses we obtained during 1966 with equipment and techniques previously employed. Methane from the higher numbered samples was produced in a bomb reactor at pressures up to 1000 psi. Also, many smaller samples were counted in a 700-ml vol counter at 2 atm pressure, which has a background of 1.76 = .02 counts/min
