Tourism is a main activity for Rhône-Alpes Region, that is directly associated with economic and social organization, incomes and employement situation of geographic areas. Tourism is particulary necessary for supporting economic vitality of mountains and deteriorating agricultural areas. Rhône-Alpes Region supports touristical expansion.
