In different parts of Germany Upper Palaeolithic objects of portable art were found that date from the Aurignacian to the Magdalenian. The aim of this article is to present the most important findings of portable art from the German federal states Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia and Saxony with some European parallels. Except for the site of Breitenbach-Schneidemühle they all date from the Magdalenian period. Some of these objects have distinct parallels with objects from other sites in Germany or from other parts of Europe, others, however, are unique
