The mesolithicsite of Arma-Maquette in Argentan (Orne) was the object of an urgent rescue excavation in june 1990. So a 130 m2 area was excavated. There were no built structures, but a significant concentration of materials was identified. A relatively abundant lithic series was collected : the most common tools on bladelets and retouched flakes make up two thirds or the tool-kit. Various types of microliths are represented : points with unretouched bases, geometrical armatures (crescents, scalene triangles), points with transverse retouch on the bases («Tardenois points») ; some types are clearly standardised.
